2020 was the year Tactical Urbanism went mainstream with national and local governments across the globe implementing quick and cheap measures to make streets safer for people to walk, roll, cycle and social distance. From parklets where there used to be car parking spaces, to pop up cycle lanes protected by cones and whole low traffic neighbourhoods created from little more than a few carefully placed planters, tactical urbanism is going on all over the place.
£1 from the sale of every Tactical urbanist t-shirt will go toWalk Ride GMwho campaign to make walking, cycling and other active travel modes the natural choice for journeys across Greater Manchester.

*Our XXS t-shirts are a children's age 12-14 and are roughly equivalent to a women's size 8. Unfortunately "unisex" t-shirts are still designed to cater mainly for men so this was the only way we could get a full range of sizes in the same colour. Depressing, huh?
Our t-shirts are some of the most sustainable around. Not only are they 100% organic cotton but they are also accredited by the Fair Wear Foundation and certified low carbon by the Carbon Trust.
Our Tactical Urbanist 'natural raw' t-shirt is undyed. Textured with tiny specs of the original cotton plant, including seed particles, it shows the true colour and essence of cotton. The cotton goes through a very gentle process at the spinning mill which means fewer chemicals, less water and less energy. For a natural colour that is super gentle on the planet.
All our t-shirts and posters are screen printed in Salford, Greater Manchester byone69Ausing Soil Association accredited water-based inks.
Here at In Tandem we're passionate about creating safer, more inclusive streets.
